Dale Lane

SIKESTON - Dale Lane, 55, died June 21, 2004, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born Feb. 11, 1949, son of Mary Duncan Lane of Dexter and the late Walter Eugene Lane, he was a truck driver for Schneider Transport and member of Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston.

On May 26, 1984, in Sikeston, he married Debby Shell who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: one son, Bryan Lane of Evansville, Ind.; one daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Chris Godwin of Waterloo, Ill.; one brother, Gale Lane of Sikeston; four sisters, Juanita Jones of Essex and Glenda McCullough, Judy Conner and Sue Lane of Dexter; and three grandchildren, Ashlie Henry, Taylor Walls and Haylie Peridore of Waterloo.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Carl Addison, pastor, and the Rev. Jerry Adams will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
