CHARLESTON - Mrs. James Reeves, Charleston, representing the 4-H Club Council of Mississippi County, and Mrs. Viola Dannenmueller, Benton, representing Scott County, will attend the National 4-H Leaders Council in Washington D.C. from Saturday until April 4.
SIKESTON - Missouri Lt. Gov. Harriet Woods toured Sikeston's municipal building Saturday afternoon, accompanied by City Manager Robert Knabel and Mayor Bill Burch.
SIKESTON - Thirteen students from the Sikeston Junior High and Middle School were selected to represent Sikeston Public Schools at the Southeast Missouri Regional Science Fair March 28-30 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Cape Girardeau. Selected members were Danette Todt, John-David Hahs, Jimmy Carr, Laura Stark, Laura Jennings, Dana Vickery, Kevin Lankheit, Ellie Miller, Rebecca Throop, Mark Adams, Matt Garrett, Ben Askew and Sam Smith.

SIKESTON - Being only the second person from Sikeston to ever become state president of the Eagles Club is a pretty hefty responsibility. Nevertheless, Roger Lindsey decided to give it a try last June. Since then he has not only paved the way for a new mindset within the organization, but has won the hearts of many along the way.
