ST. LOUIS - Addie Martin Linebaugh, 88, formerly of Charleston, died at 10:10 a.m. Oct. 11, 2003, at the West County Care Center in St. Louis. Born Oct. 27, 1914, in the Lusk Chapel community of Mississippi County, daughter of the late Charles and Clara Bell Brawner Martin, she lived in Charleston most of her life. ST. LOUIS - Addie Martin Linebaugh, 88, formerly of Charleston, died at 10:10 a.m. Oct. 11, 2003, at the West County Care Center in St. Louis.

Born Oct. 27, 1914, in the Lusk Chapel community of Mississippi County, daughter of the late Charles and Clara Bell Brawner Martin, she lived in Charleston most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Charleston and was a teacher at the Lusk Chapel School before retiring.

On July 16, 1934, she married Orvel V. Linebaugh who preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1980.

Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Clara Loretta and Richard Doolittle of Littleton, Colo., and Bobbie Luber of St. Louis; one brother, Alfred Martin of rural Charleston; two sisters, Rosa Lee Fluegge and Martha Snowden of Charleston; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Doris Johnson; two brothers, James Walter Martin and C.D. Martin Jr.; and one sister, Lillie Mae Linebaugh.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gerald Collier, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
