CHARLESTON - David Jordan and Dawn Mechelle Collier are the parents of their second child, first son, born at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 30, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Layne David Collier weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19-inches long.
The former Dawn Buchanan, Mrs. Collier is the daughter of Joe and Sondra Buchanan of Benton. She is a loan officer for Progressive Farm Credit.
Collier, son of Freeman and Bonnie Collier of Villa Ridge, Ill., and Linda Dandridge of Cordova, Tenn., is an electrician with Electrical Contractors Inc.
SIKESTON - Marianna Jearldene Grant Musgrove and William Richard Grays are the parents of their third son, born at 9:25 a.m. Aug. 31, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Logan Tyler Grays weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20-inches long.
Musgrove, daughter of Jearldene Grant of Caruthersville and Warren Grant of Vanduser, is employed by Scott County Central Schools.
Grays, son of Charles Grays and Bonnie Grays of Pascola, is employed with L-Con General Contractor.
