Chloeta Martin
WADSWORTH, Ohio - Chloeta Fay McArthur Martin, 73, died Sept. 27, 2003, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born March 11, 1930, in Dexter, Mo., daughter of the late William and Mabel Hudson McArthur, she lived in Wadsworth for 46 years. She attended Cape Girardeau University and was a charter member of the James Fowler Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The founder and president of Martin Rubber Company in Ohio, she retired in 1989 after 15 years of service.
Her husband, Theodore O. Martin Jr., survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Doug Michael of Canton; her twin sister, Chloene Witte of Nacogdoches, Texas; two brothers, Con McArthur of Oran, Mo., and Burford McArthur of Jackson, Tenn.; and one granddaughter and three stepgrandsons.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Annah Lea Martin; two sisters, Verlene Blankenship and Theola Miles; and one brother, Shirley McArthur.
Services were conducted Thursday at the Hilliard and Mullaney Funeral Home in Wadsworth with the Rev. Kurt Landerholm officiating.
Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
