PORTAGEVILLE -- Evelyne Francis Haynes Arnold Jones, 81, died at 8:15 a.m. April 24, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 28, 1923, in New Madrid, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Haynes and Ruth Grinow.
Two brothers, Roscoe William Murphy and Henry Murphy; three husbands, Robert Haynes, Fred Arnold and Jessie J. Jones; and one stillborn child also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four daughters, Ruthie Peek of Imperial, Jean Josey of Bushnell, Fla., Katty Townsend of Marston and Darlene Klipfel of Portageville; three sons, Jim Haynes of Portageville, Freddy Arnold of Hillsboro and Paul Jones of Hayward; and 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Frank Townsend will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
