BLOOMFIELD - Construction is under way for the addition to the Stoddard County Jail at Bloomfield. Bridger Construction Co. of Sikeston began excavation of the lot for the addition last week.

After five days of introduction to virtually every aspect of government, Engberg should know. She is one of 350 high schoolers observing the workings of Washington at the National Young Leaders Conference, which ends today.
