Phil Campagna

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Albert Philip "Phil" Campagna, 78, died March 29, 2003, at the Methodist Hospital in Germantown.

Born March, 7, 1925, in Memphis, son of the late Albert P. and Earleen Lathan Campagna Sr., he was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and was retired from Fleming Foods. He was a communicate member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lady Lake, Fla., and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Germantown.

His wife, Connie Campagna, preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Connie Campagna Covington of Memphis and Mary Catherine Campagna of Nashville; one sister, Joann Crawford of Memphis; and two grandchildren, Natlie Covington and Christopher Covington.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis.
