East Prairie romps

EAST PRAIRIE -- The East Prairie Lady Eagles romped over Scott County Central 15-0 in a Scott-Mississippi Conference softball game on Wednesday.

The game ended in the third inning on the mercy-run rule.

Lydia Thomure picked up the win on a one-hitter with six strikeouts.

Thomure also led East Prairie (7-3, 2-1) at the plate with a 3-for-3 day with 2 RBIs. Talia Thurman and Tabitha Johnson each went 2-for-2 with a triple. B
