Cotton Carnival events

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Concession stand is open.

5 p.m. - Carnival opens.

Rides special: Every ride will cost one coupon less.

7:30 p.m. - Little Mr. and Miss Cotton Carnival for youngsters ages 4-6 years old.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Concession stand is open.

5 p.m. - Carnival opens.

Wristbands are $15 for access to the rides.

8 p.m. - Junior Miss Sikeston contest.

Friday, Sept. 24

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - The concession stand is open.

5 p.m. - Carnival opens.

7-11 p.m. The band WTO of Dyersburg, Tenn., will play on the Cotton Carnival Stage.

9 a.m. to noon - Registration for car show with judging scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. at the Cotton Carnival grounds.

9 a.m. - Parade lineup begin.

10 a.m. - Parade - The parade will begin at Pine Street traveling north to Malone Avenue where it will proceed west to Scott Street. It will disperse in the vacant lots west of Scott Street.

10 a.m. - Carnival opens. Noon - 5 p.m. - Wristband can be purchased for $15 to allow access to the carnival rides.

11 a.m. - Concession stand opens.

12:30 p.m. - Miss Cotton Carnival Contest which is open to any senior not attending Sikeston Public schools.

7 p.m. - Miss Sikeston Contest which is opens to any senior attending Sikeston public schools.
