Junior Earp

LILBOURN - Vernon Junior Earp, 79, died July 1, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Feb. 2, 1924, in Decatur, Ala., son of the late Yancey and Ramey Die Earp, he was a retired farm laborer and of the Pentecostal belief.

On Aug. 10, 1945, he married Toy Esther Farley who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Esther Sadler of Lilbourn, Brenda Day of Sikeston and Sandra Schrewsbury of Hayti; and three grandchildren, Christopher Day and Angela Day of Sikeston and Ashley Sadler of Lilbourn.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Thursday until service time at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn. The Rev. Ira Lee Sandefer pastor of Smith Avenue Church of God of Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.

Pallbearers will be: Christopher Day, Joey Wilson, Bill Etheridge, Rick Schrewsbury, Dale Day and Terry McNew.
