BENTON - Donald I. Guerrier, 64, died at 1:21 p.m. Dec. 20. 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born June 22, 1943, in New Orleans, to the late Jack Guerrier and Beatrice Wells Guerrier Ackerman, he had lived in Michigan and Arkansas before moving to Benton in 1994. He was employed as a roofer and contractor until his retirement and was of the Baptist belief.
He was married to Gladys Johnson who survives of Fowlerville, Mich.; to Emma Alsup who survives of Lepanto, Ark. and to Rhonda McVay who survives of Cape Girardeau.
Other survivors include: one son, Donald Eric Guerrier of Brighton, Mich.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Denise Elaine Guerrier of Brighton, Dawn Marie and Benjamin Soto of Jonesboro, Ark., Katrina Anjaleic and Patrick Pehm of Benton and Desiree Ali Guerrier of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Kathy Burch of Clio, Mich.; one half-sister, Carolanne Cox of Tempe, Ariz.; two stepbrothers, Mark Ackerman of Quitman, Ark. and Bob Ackerman of Webberville, Mich.; and two stepsisters, Helen House of Kissimmee, Fla. and Donna St. Charles of Fowlerville, Mich.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his stepfather, Earl Ackerman; one sister, Jackie Russeau; and one stepsister, Virginia Detroyer.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
