BLOOMFIELD - Edna Marie Long, 90, died Dec. 24, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield.

Born June 8, 1917, at Bloomfield, to the late James Ernest and Veda Martin Robinson, she had spent all her life in the Bloomfield Community and was a long-time member of St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia.

On June 8, 1925, she married Theron Long, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: six sons, Theron C. Long Jr. of Wentzville, Robert Lee Long of Granite City, Ill., Daniel Mike Long, William Ernest Long, Robin Craig Long and Darrol Kent Long, all of Bloomfield; three daughters, Shannon J. Hellman of Bloomfield, Sandra Jean Mowry of Cherryville and Patricia Ann Charest of St. Louis; one brother, James E. Robinson of Dexter; one sister, Joyce Wamble of Dexter; and 32 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Albert Long; two daughters, Shirley Jolene Angel and Linda Joyce Courtemanche; and two sisters, Vergie Robinson and Edith Corbin.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dan Sitze officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bluff Cemetery at Idalia.
