VANDUSER -- Ermon M. Storms, 94, died Nov. 28, 2007, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Nov. 12, 1913, in Clarksville, Ark., son of the late Louis and Amanda Poteet Storms, he farmed for his father-in-law after he moved to Missouri and later owned and operated his own trucking business until 1942 when he went into the construction business as a carpenter. He worked on many building projects in Southeast Missouri until his retirement including the Missouri Delta Medical Center, Southeast Missouri State University and Noranda.
On Jan. 13, 1934, at Benton, he married Hazel Clark who preceded him in death Nov. 6, 2004.
Five brothers and five sisters also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Lewis Storms of Dexter and Gerald Storms of O'Fallon; one daughter, Louise Richard of Overland; and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
