CAPE GIRARDEAU - Helen J. Brown, 72, died July 22, 2006 at her home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 13, 1934, in Bowling Green, Ky., daughter of the late Roy J. and Judy Pettis Lober, she was a graduate of Charleston High School, attended the University of Missouri, and formerly worked at the Sears Store in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Maple United Methodist Church.
On Jan. 2, 1954, in Charleston, she married Howard G. Brown, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one brother, Ronald Lober of St. Peters and one sister, Rita Schoenberg of Kirkwood.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jim Cooper will officiate.
Burial will follow in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
