CAPE GIRARDEAU - Zulema Fulkerson, 83, died July 4, 2005, at the Barnes- Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Born Feb. 4, 1922, at Conway County, Ark., daughter of the late Irving and Ella Bryant Harrington, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. CAPE GIRARDEAU - Zulema Fulkerson, 83, died July 4, 2005, at the Barnes-

Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Feb. 4, 1922, at Conway County, Ark., daughter of the late Irving and Ella Bryant Harrington, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. A former employee of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel department in St. Louis, retiring in 1974, she was a member of the Wally Byrum Caravan Club.

On Aug. 28, 1942, in Charleston, she married Glenn Dallas Fulkerson who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Glenn Michael Fulkerson of Kewadin, Mich.; two brothers, Ben Harrington of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Bobby Bryant of San Ramon, Calif.; and one granddaughter, Traci Fulkerson.

One brother, Jim Harrington, preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
