Murakami takes first place in Super Pro Class at the Sikeston Drag Strip

SIKESTON -- Here are Saturday's results from the Sikeston Drag Strip.

In the Super Pro Class, Mark Murakami captured first place with a 6.19 run on a 6.197 dial at 108 mph. His reaction time is .515. Rob Sample took second place with a 5.08 run on a 5.087 dial at 135 mph with a .517 reaction time.

In the E.T. Class, Ryne Thomason took first place when he ran 6.70 on a 6.733 dial at 100 mph with a .606 reaction time. Howard Harper ran 7.33 on a 7.313 dial at 87 mph with a .661 reaction time.

In the Pro Class, Chuck Gurley took first when he ran 6.94 on a 6.959 dial at 96 mph with a .501 reaction time. Darrell Woolard took second when he ran 7.01 on a 7.008 dial at 96 mph with a .482 reaction time.

In the Street Bike Class, Rene de Groof took first place with a 6.52 run on a 6.607 dial at 102 mph with a .560 reaction time. Marcus Taylor took second with a 6.45 run on a 6.507 dial at 110 mph with a .651 reaction time.

In the Pro Bike class, Frank Linders took first with a 6.04 time on a 6.068 dial. He ran 107 mph with a .522 reaction time. Winston Bobo took second when he dialed 5.735 and ran 5.72 at 119 mph with a .493 reaction time.
