KELSO - Cyril Jacob Elfrink, 72, died at 6:15 a.m. Sept. 13, 2005 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 23, 1933, in Leopold, son of the late Martin and Anna Beel Elfrink, he was a farmer. A a veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
On Sept. 28, 1957, in Chaffee, he married Inez Laverne Enderle, who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, other survivors include: two sons, Kevin Elfrink and Randall Elfrink of Kelso; three daughters, Edith Pennington and Janice Kiefer of New Hamburg and Sandra Gibbons of Kelso; three brothers, Bill Elfrink of Leopold and Ennis Elfrink and Luke Elfrink of Jackson; four sisters, Bernice Beussink of Overland, Rita Brugger of Jackson, Anita Jansen of St. Charles and Lorraine Bueter of House Springs; and 12 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with parish prayers at 7 p.m.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Church with the Revs. Oliver Clavin, Tom Kiefer and John Harth officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Augustine cemetery in Kelso with full military rites provided by the Missouri Honors Program.
