COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Clarence Marvin "Buddy" Sikes, 84, died Nov. 12, 2005, in Colorado Springs. Born Feb. 13, 1921, in Matthews, Mo., he was the son of the late Ross and Hazel Watkins Sikes. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Clarence Marvin "Buddy" Sikes, 84, died Nov. 12, 2005, in Colorado Springs.

Born Feb. 13, 1921, in Matthews, Mo., he was the son of the late Ross and Hazel Watkins Sikes. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was decorated for his valor in the Pacific Campaign. He was awarded with several medals of honor, including a Silver Star, Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He was employed with the Missouri Department of Transportation until retirement and served as an auxiliary police officer, past post commander at the Sikeston, Mo., American Legion and a lifetime member of the VFW.

Two sisters, Margaret Sikes and Barbara Hitchcock, also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: one son, Matthew Ross Sikes of Sikeston; one daughter, Lynda Lee Jackson of Colorado Springs; four grandchildren and one great-

grandchild.

Private services will be conducted.
