BERNIE - Jonelle Walker, 78, died Nov. 13, 2005, in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter.
Born Aug. 22, 1927, at Holcomb, daughter of the late Richard and Vallie Lowe Oates, she was a housewife and of the Baptist belief.
On Feb. 9, 1948, at Pontiac, Mich., she married Edward Lee Walker, who preceded her in death.
One daughter, Cynthia Cross; and two brothers, Billy Oates and Wendell Oates, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four daughters, Susan Gibson of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Linda Wilcox and Cathy Hanham, both of Dexter and Tamra Craft of Bernie; two sisters, Odell Bullock and Evellyn McKinsey, both of Texas; 12 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-
stepgrandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Powe Gospel Church, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Ivan Mekan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
