COLUMBIA - James L. Kellett, 65, formerly of Sikeston, died Oct. 25, 2007, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Columbia.
Born June 5, 1942, in Sikeston, to the late Royal and Ruth McKinney Kellett, he was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and a businessman involved in the sale of agriculture equipment.
He was married to Toni Zaricor for 23 years, who survives of Sikeston.
Other survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Scott and Stacia Kellett and Justin Kellett of Naples, Fla., and Jake and Lynnae Kellett of Paragould, Ark.; one brother, Bob Kellett of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Hunter Kellett and Wyatt Kellett of Naples and Sabrina Kellett and Alexanne Kellett of Paragould; and his companion, Lynnette Caskey of Columbia.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until time of memorial services at 7 p.m. Monday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Geoff Posegate, pastor of First United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow at a later date.
