BLOOMFIELD - Hilda Fuwell, 67, died Feb. 7, 2006, at her home.

Born Jan. 21, 1939, at Tigrett, Tenn., daughter of the late Alvin Gauldin and Helen Smith Gauldin Prince, she was the owner of Fuwell Residential Care in rural Dexter and had been a foster parent since 1982.

On July 14, 1956, at Chicago, she married Freemond "Bud" Fuwell, who preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2004.

One brother, Lloyd Gauldin, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Deborah Graebner of Dexter and Teresa Allen of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jim Hoyt will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
