DEXTER -- A Dexter girl was injured early Friday in a collision with a horse near Powe.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred at 5:40 a.m. on Route U when the westbound vehicle driven by Martha P. Sandoval, 36, of Dexter struck a horse in the road.
No injuries were reported for Sandoval. Her passenger, Cheleste Sandoval, 12, of Dexter sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Southern Hospital.
