SIKESTON - Edward Thomas Magee, 75, died at 7:08 a.m. Oct. 18, 2007, at Hillview Health Care in Vienna, Ill.
Born Nov. 20, 1931, at Lake County, Tenn., to the late Elisha and Bunav Williams Magee, he worked as a farm laborer with Layton Hubbert Farms.
On Dec. 20, 1956, at Benton, he married Verna Mildred Potter, who preceded him in death on Sept. 30, 2000.
Four brothers and four sisters also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one brother, Clarence Magee of Jonesboro, Ill.; four sisters, Betty Crawford of Sikeston, Virginia Casey of Jonesboro, Ill. and Barbara Duckworth and Geraldine Llewellyn of Anna, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Dogwood Cemetery in Dogwood with the Rev. Millie Burnes with the House of Prayer General Baptist Church officiating.
