T.A. Tinnin
FREDERICKTOWN - Dr. T.A. "Al" Tinnin, 86, died Nov. 12, 2007, at his home.
Born Sept. 18, 1921, at Marquand, he was the son of the late A.C. and Stella V. Tinnin. A U.S. Army veteran, he retired in 1986 after 40 years of practice as a dentist. He was a past president of the Southeast Missouri Dental Society and a member of the United Methodist Church in Fredericktown.
On Oct. 15, 1946, at St. Louis, he married Marie Whitener who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and John Leible of Sikeston and Marcy and Kim Allen of Austin, Texas; one sister, Shirleen DeCormier of St. Louis; and four grandchildren, Jay Leible, Marc Leible, Justin Allen and Kara Allen.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Tinnin and Lee Roy Tinnin.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Fredericktown with the Rev. Rick Lasley officiating.
Burial with full military rites will follow in the Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
