Sue Kinder
DELTA -- Sue Kinder, 64, died Feb. 5, 2006, at her home after an extended illness with cancer.
Born June 3, 1941, in Flat River, daughter of the late Elvis "Red" and Neva Marie Shelton Dunning, she was a 1959 Delta High School graduate and a 1961 graduate of Cape School of Beauty Culture. She worked for a short time at the shoe factory and was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Delta.
On Aug. 10, 1964, in Chaffee, she married Joe Kinder who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Troy A. Smith and Joe M. Kinder Jr. of Delta; two daughters, Kelli Kinder of Delta and Angie Evans of Jackson; two brothers, Jerry "Son" Dunning of Cape Coral, Fla., and Larry Dunning of Whitewater; two sisters, Shirley Reimann of Fruitland and Sharon Russom of Delta; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Delta with the Rev. Eric Hodge officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hitt Cemetery near Delta.
