SIKESTON - William E. Raney, 68, died Feb. 14, 2006, at his home after an extended illness.
Born April 16, 1937, in Kennett, son of the late John D. and Irene Mansfield Raney, he had been a truck driver for USF Holland before retiring.
On Dec. 23, 1976, at Farmington, he married Roberta Ann Lotz, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, William Grant Raney of Dallas; two daughters, Stephanie Lea Anne Raney of the home and Pamela Kay Randall of Olla, La.; two stepsons, Richard Lee Campbell and William Stephen Campbell, both of Ironton; one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Ann Moore of Sikeston; one brother, Larry Raney of Buffalo; two sisters, Lisa Hodges and Diane Wright, both of Farmington; four grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with Eric Snyder officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Richie Campbell, Stephen Campbell, Roger Moore, Josh Wisdom, Floyd Robison and Robbie Nettles.
