SIKESTON - Ashleigh Nicole Lindsey and Kenneth Ray Vaughn were united in marriage during a 4 p.m. ceremony Sept. 15, 2007, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Tom McCanless, uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Gary Lindsey of Sikeston and the late Brenda Lindsey. SIKESTON - Ashleigh Nicole Lindsey and Kenneth Ray Vaughn were united in marriage during a 4 p.m. ceremony Sept. 15, 2007, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Tom McCanless, uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gary Lindsey of Sikeston and the late Brenda Lindsey. Parents of the bridegroom are Karen and Cliff Pettit of Sikeston.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an Alfred Angelo white A-line strapless gown which featured a train. The empire-waisted dress was highlighted with rhinestones along the front and sides. The wedding veil was also adorned with matching rhinestones.

Serving as matron of honor was Tami Stone of Sikeston. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Hobbs, Erica Vaughn and Misty Keene, all of Sikeston. The flower girl was Macy McCanless, daughter of Amy and Shon McCanless of Lilbourn.

Joe Allen of Tiptonville, Tenn., served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Vaughn, Charlie Keene and Tim Massey, all of Sikeston. The ring bearer was Ethan Stone, son of Tami and Andy Stone of Sikeston.

Candlelighters were Donovan and Brody Stone of Sikeston. Chris Vaughn and Charlie Keene of Sikeston served as ushers.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the church. Servers were Joan Wood, Gelena Tippy, Suzan Adams and Tanya Adams, all of Sikeston, Missy Williams of Vanduser and Linda Graviette of Bloomfield.

Following a honeymoon to Orlando, Fla., the new Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn are making their home in Sikeston.
