DEXTER - Michillino "Mike" Ferrara, 86, died Feb. 13, 2006, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter. DEXTER - Michillino "Mike" Ferrara, 86, died Feb. 13, 2006, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Oct. 31, 1919, son of the late John and Mary Christine Ferrara, he was the owner and operator of Ferrara Gulf Service Station in Dexter for many years, was affiliated with the Dexter Church of God and a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II.

On Oct. 24, 1943, in Dexter, he married Julia Estes, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Mike Ferrara of Alturas, Calif.; and one grandson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
