DELTA - Cletus N. Givens, 87, died at 7:19 p.m. Nov. 27, 2005 at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
Born Jan. 3, 1918, in Delta, son of the late Ancil Ivan and Grace Wilson Givens, he was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Delta, where he served as a deacon.
On Jan. 18, 1945, he married Glenda A. Looney, who preceded him n death on Sept. 23, 1994.
One brother, two sisters and a grandson also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one son, Terry Givens of Whitewater; two daughters, Donna Seabaugh and Peggy Sherrill, both of Jackson; one brother, Chalk Givens of Glen Allen; one sister, Gladys Brown of Delta; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Ron Schrum officiating.
Burial will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
Pallbearers will be: Rodney Seabaugh, Robert Sherrill, Clayton Davis, Terry Givens, Sam Smith and Lowell Fish.
