PORTAGEVILLE - Flossie Riddle Passwater, 72, died Nov. 25, 2005, at B and B Hospital in Lewes, Del.

Born Nov. 20, 1933, in Hogwaller, Tenn., daughter of the late Emanuel and Vannie Belch Pardon, she worked as a beautician for Stella Bess for several years, before opening a salon in her home. In 1981, she moved to Delaware where she worked for C.K. Hairport and Hair Dimensions.

On Jan. 28, 1950, she married Rondal M. Riddle who preceded her in death on March 21, 1978. On June 24, 1989, she married Stanley Passwater, who also preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death were: five brothers, Carl Pardon, Joe Pardon, Ruth Pardon, Theodore Pardon and Irvin Pardon; one sister, Ruby Kary; and two stepsisters, Charlotte Bryant and Sue Crumley.

Survivors include: one son, Ronnie Riddle of Portageville; three daughters, Debra Woodall of New Madrid, Ruth Ann Smith of Milford, Del., and Jana Moore of the Cayman Islands; four sisters, Maxine Harris and Peggy Sloan, both of Sikeston and Kate Gunn and Sherrell Gunn, both of Hayti; two half brothers, Charles Pardon and W.C. "Bill" Golden; two stepsisters, Wilma Owens of Sikeston and Glenda Penrod of Portageville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Al Lorah of Lewes.

Visitation is at 5 p.m. Wednesday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dr. Buck Morton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
