SIKESTON - Three Sikeston Lady Bulldog volleyball players received All-SEMO Conference recognition recently. Sophomore Martika Davis was named to the all-conference first team as a middle blocker. She led the Lady Bulldogs this season in kills (152), kill percentage (.369) and blocks (60)...

SIKESTON - Three Sikeston Lady Bulldog volleyball players received All-SEMO Conference recognition recently.

Sophomore Martika Davis was named to the all-conference first team as a middle blocker. She led the Lady Bulldogs this season in kills (152), kill percentage (.369) and blocks (60).

Sophomore Rachel Beydler was named to the all-conference second team as a setter. She led the Sikeston squad this season in assists (185) and digs (182), while also placing second in kill percentage and service aces.

Junior Quinn Kaiser received a conference honorable mention as an outside hitter. She placed second for the Lady Bulldogs this season in kills (120) and digs (162) and third in kill percentage.

Other local players with all-conference honors include: Oran's Carmen Duncan (first team), Mandi Wood (second team) and Courtney Nenninger (honorable mention); and New Madrid's Meoshe Morgan (second team).

The post season honor teams are chosen by the conference coaches. Coaches do not vote for their own players.
