DUTCHTOWN -- Rebecca Marie Garner Estes Hinkle, 90, died July 5, 2006, at a family home in Dutchtown.
Born May 8, 1916, in Sank, daughter of the late Thomas Garner and Estella Wooldridge, she helped work on the farm for many years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Greenbrier Assembly of God Church near Greenbrier.
On April 21, 1934, she married Edgar W. Estes who preceded her in death on July 2, 1963. In 1964, she married Homer Hinkle, who also preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Estes Obermann Martin; and five brothers, three sisters, her stepfather and a grandson.
Survivors include: one stepson, James Hinkle of St. Louis; two stepdaughters, Ruth Hinkle of Michigan and Virginia Speer of Advance; five grandchildren, Brenda Carnell of Delta, Terry Obermann, Larry Obermann and Susan Reed of Dutchtown and Donna Davault of Advance; and 11 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. James Johns officiating.
Burial will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
Pallbearers will be: Burl Ragsdale, Roy Garner, David Garner, Larry Obermann, Terry Obermann and Cory Obermann.
