DEXTER - Kenneth E. Clark, 75, died July 4, 2006, at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 22, 1930, in Gideon, son of the late Earl and Flava Cornman Clark, he was a former truck driver for Southeast Co-Op Service. He was a member of the Clark Family Gospel Singers and affiliated with the Dudley Community Church in Dudley.

On Jan. 22, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., he married Berladean Hughes, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Stephen Clark and David Clark of Dexter; one daughter, Vickie Seymore of Dexter; one brother, Larry Gene Clark of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sisters, Catherine Barber of Dexter and Lola Mae Hileman of Flint, Mich.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Troy Clark, Vernon Clark, Ray Clark, Ralph Clark and Leroy Clark.

Funeral services were conducted today in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at Dexter. The Rev. Dale Shoup officiated.

Burial followed in the Bernie Cemetery.
