Ice chills and thrills

Even before residents can finish cleaning up from last week's storm, here comes another round of ice.

The freezing rain is forecast to continue into Friday. Due to the extent of damage from the ice storms, city of Sikeston crews are willing to help as much as possible by picking up limbs from the street right of ways.

The compost site located on Compress Road will also be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 20 through March 1 to allow the citizens of Sikeston to dispose of tree limbs and brush from their properties.
