Nelson - Pullen

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Scott Nelson of Lakeville, Minn., and Mrs. Marianne Meyer of Minneapolis, Minn., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Rose Nelson, to Steven Daniel Pullen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Pullen of Benton, Mo.

A 2006 graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, where she earned a degree in music business, the future bride is employed as a marketing agent at Grand Vista Music.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., where he received degrees in communications and foreign language. He is a team member of Bistro 215 in Nashville.

Plans are under way for a November wedding in Minneapolis.
