CLARKTON -- Rose Edda Smart, 54, died Aug. 30, 2007, due to injuries sustained in an auto accident near Kennett.

Born June 21, 1953, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late W.L. and Jennie Rose King Williams, she was a member of the Solid Rock Church in Clarkton.

In August 1982, in Clarkton, she married Virgil Lee Smart, who also died Aug. 30, 2007.

One brother, Herbert Alford Williams, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three daughters, Glenda Clifton and Linda Clifton of the state of South Carolina and Rhonda Reed of Tupelo, Miss.; three sons, Chad Adkins of the state of Texas and James Robert Reed and Joseph Allen Reed of Tupelo; one sister, Louise Sills of Campbell; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, where services are scheduled for 10 am. Monday. The Rev. Danny King will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton
