CHAFFEE -- Mary Camille Hindman, 82, died at 9:56 a.m. Feb. 1, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Born April 2, 1925, in Chaffee, to the late Harvey and Jessie Marie Litzelfelner Burnett, she was a retired dietary worker at the Chaffee Nursing Center. She was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, where she belonged to the Daughters of St. Ambrose; and also was in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chaffee American Legion...

CHAFFEE -- Mary Camille Hindman, 82, died at 9:56 a.m. Feb. 1, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born April 2, 1925, in Chaffee, to the late Harvey and Jessie Marie Litzelfelner Burnett, she was a retired dietary worker at the Chaffee Nursing Center. She was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, where she belonged to the Daughters of St. Ambrose; and also was in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chaffee American Legion.

On Aug. 19, 1944, she marred Joseph Scheeter, who died on Feb. 26, 1964. She later married Kenneth Hindman on Nov. 28, 1986, who survives of the home.

Survivors include: three sons, John Scheeter of Jacksonville, Fla., David Scheeter of San Jose, Calif. and Dennis Scheeter of Chaffee; one daughter Joan Scheeter of Chicago; one brother, Jim Burnett of Miles City, Mont.; one sister, Betty Kennedy of Alexander, Va.; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her first husband, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Ralph Duffner will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
