ST. LOUIS - Earl O. Kinsey Sr., 74, formerly of Sikeston, died May 10, 2007, in St. Louis.
He was born Nov. 7, 1932, in Gideon, son of the late Eliga and Anna Belle Kinsey. He was a member of the Grand View Baptist Church, a Mason-both York Rite and Scottish Rite Lodges, a member of the Elkorah Shrine Temple of Boise, Idaho, and the VFW Post 4l05.
Earl joined the Air Force at age 14 and served in the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was stationed at Clark Air Force Base, Philippines, as back-up planes and suppliers for Vietnam. He was awarded two Purple Hearts and other medals.
He retired at age 36.
He worked at McDonnell-Douglas for 20 years in tool design.
Earl formed five square dance clubs and taught thousands of people to square dance at both club dances, private parties and church fundraisers. He was known as "Earl the Pearl" to the many college students he taught to square dance over the years. He called dances in the Missouri area, across the United States and overseas. He will be missed.

Skidmore, Everett (Evelyn) Kinsey, Norman (the late Phillip) Cox, the late Clara Kinsey and the late Geneva Beck; our dear grandfather; great-
grandfather; uncle; cousin; and friend.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Joe McCullough, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mount Gillead Cemetery at Malden.
