Speakout 5/18

Friday, May 18, 2007

This is in response to the Parents who host lose the most. I'm a firm believer that their should be a sign that says, "Parents who ignore lose even more." There are parents who are responsible and then there are parents that are irresponsible.

I'd like to have an answer to this question. How come we can take our young American boys and train them for three months to be ready to fight in a war? But it's been almost five years with the Iraqi people and they are still not ready to fight. We are sending young boys and girls over there to die for nothing. We need to bring the kids home. Iraqis don't want to fight, they want the Americans to do it for them.

To the person who took my diamond ring at my Moving Sale Thursday on Shady Lane. This ring was my dad's wedding ring to Mother when they married in 1935. He died when I was only 18. I am heartsick over this loss as this was all I had left of my dad. I had planned to use it for my wedding ring next month. I am devastated. If you will please, please find it in your heart to return it, please just leave it in my mailbox in its velvet box, no questions asked. Only a person with no conscience could possibly enjoy this ring knowing the circumstances. Also, please return the Masonic ring, and the man's turquoise and silver rings and thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

This is a real good Christian family, we're God fearing people, and we're trying to find us a house. Either a two-three bedroom house, preferably out in the country in the Sikeston area, or a nice house out toward Miner. We're praying to God that some Christian out there will not put money before God and be greedy and will get the rent down and get good renters in there and take care of the property. If there is such a place out there and God touches your heart, put it in SpeakOut and we'll get a hold of you. In Jesus name I pray, amen and amen.

I would just like to say thank you to Sikeston DPS for the great job they did Thursday at the fire. People don't say thank you enough to them for taking care of us. Again, thank you Sikeston DPS.

To the person who complained about Al Gore on his gas guzzling SUV. He also owns a hybrid Toyota. Now turn to the real problem of millions of dollars wasted in Iraq, 3300 troops killed and 21,000 others wounded who will never walk again or play with their kids. Also, I would be happy with one sheet of toilet paper as Sheryl Crow suggested instead of the 529 sheets of toilet paper for people like you.
