NEW HAMBURG -- Clara Francis Steimle, 89, died at 3:30 a.m. Dec. 7, 2006, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 21, 1917, in New Hamburg, daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Mary Bertha Gosche Steimle, she was a retired floor lady at Thorngate Limited in Chaffee. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg and St. Ann Sodality.
In addition to her parents, seven brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is after 4:30 p.m. Friday with parish prayers at 6 p.m. at Amick-
Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery at New Hamburg.
