CHARLESTON -- Kenneth Michael "Mickey" George Sr., 66, died at 11:37 p.m. Dec. 12, 2006, at his home in Charleston.

Born Aug. 23, 1940, in Charleston, son of the late William Louis and Orlena Susan Franklin George, he had lived most of his life in Charleston, where he was owner and operator of Commercial Truck Parts and attended the First Assembly of God Church.

On Nov. 7, 1963, he married Barbara Jean Summers, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Kenneth Michael "Kenny" George Jr. of Charleston; one daughter, Lisa Jernigan of East Prairie; one brother, Russell George of Bertrand; three grandchildren, David Weakley and Courtney Jernigan of East Prairie and Tabitha Weakley of Wickliffe, Ky.; and three great-

grandchildren.

One son, William Lee "Billy" George; three brothers, Marshall George, Gene George and Bill George; one sister, Hazel George Largen; three infant brothers; and one infant sister also preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. Saturday until time for services at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Corey Weakley, Jim Moreton, John Moreton, Joe Sevic, Bennie Bruenderman and Charles Tinsley Jr.
