SIKESTON -- Guadalupe Gonzales, 86, died at 8:19 p.m. Sept. 13, 2006, at his home.

Born April 9, 1920, in Pintada, N.M., son of the late Flavain and Guadalupe Gonzales, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a member of the first Assembly of God Church and worked at Lambert's Cafe until retirement.

On April 11, 1963, in Santa Rosa, N.M., he married Etta Ruth Cashion who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Youn and Julie Gonzales of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Regina Denning of Sikeston and Golda Henderson of Tallapoosa, Ga.; and four grandchildren and three great-

grandchildren.

Inurnment services with full military honors conducted by the Missouri Military Funeral Honor Guard were held at 10 a.m. today in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Columbarium in Bloomfield. The Rev. Cotus James, military chaplain, will officiate.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel of Sikeston is in charge of local arrangements.
