LOS ANGELES -- Vera Craft, 97, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Feb. 10, 2008, at the Centinela Hospital in Inglewood. Born March 6, 1910, in Vaiden, Miss., to the late Ivory and Helen Bailey Flucker, she had lived in Charleston for over 50 years before moving to California. LOS ANGELES -- Vera Craft, 97, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Feb. 10, 2008, at the Centinela Hospital in Inglewood.

Born March 6, 1910, in Vaiden, Miss., to the late Ivory and Helen Bailey Flucker, she had lived in Charleston for over 50 years before moving to California. For many years she was a member of Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston where she was a member of the Mother's Board.

She married R.P. Craft who preceded her in death.

One son, Ivory Craft, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Alice Craft of Los Angeles, and one grandson.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
