NEW MADRID -- Artie Mae Morlan, 84, died Feb. 6, 2008, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 27, 1923, in East Prairie, she was the daughter of the late Roland "R.C." and Maudie Jenkins Rust.
She married Doyne Lindsey who preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1953. She later married Tom Morlan who preceded her in death on April 7, 2000.
Two daughters, Melba Sue Lindsey and Virginia Kay Lindsey, and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jerry and Marty Lindsey of Jewett, Texas, Dwayne and Sandy Morlan of New Madrid and Tom Morlan of Phoenix; one daughter, Gayle Stevens of St. Louis; three sisters, Hazel Miller, Ruth Cunningham and Beulah Woods of Murray, Ky.; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
