SIKESTON -- A New Madrid County resident has been charged in the shooting/stabbing incident at 819 Davis Street Tuesday morning that left him and two others hospitalized.
According to a news release from Department of Public Safety Director Drew Juden, Vincent Minner, 42, of New Madrid has been charged with three counts of first degree assault, three counts of armed criminal action, one count of first degree burglary and one count of tampering with a witness.
A motive has not yet been determined by investigators as Minner has not been interviewed yet.
"He did not want to talk with us," Juden said.
Charges were filed by Scott County Prosecutor Paul Boyd. Bond has been sent at $1 million and Minner is currently at an area hospital under guard pending release to the Scott County Sheriff's Department.
