SIKESTON - The annual muscular dystrophy campaign will be conducted by the Elks Club with Leo William serving as chairman and Ray Hart as co-

chairman. The drive will be held during December. Plans for this year's campaign include canister distribution throughout the city for donations and for funds.

SIKESTON - "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" sang the Sikeston Community Choir at a recent rehearsal. The choir is currently rehearsing for its annual Christmas concert scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church. The choir is under the direction of Gordon Beaver.

SIKESTON - Members of Noranda Aluminum Inc. management were all present for a check presentation to the United Way on Wednesday. Employees of Noranda had contributed $30,000 and company officials decided to match a portion of the money by donating an additional $16,000. This generous contribution makes this the largest single donation in the history of the Sikeston United Way and sent the tally board to a very positive figure.

SIKESTON - Gerald Rogers, broker of First Realty/Better Homes and Gardens, announced that three agents have attained the honor of joining the One Million Dollar Sales Club for 1996. They are Sue Rogers, Shori Hagy-Ferrell and Margaret Dorris. "This honor is bestowed upon those reaching the million dollars in real estate sales during one year," Rogers said.
