PUXICO - Audra L. Hobbs, 87, died Nov. 2, 2006, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.
Born Feb. 9, 1919, in rural Puxico, daughter of the late David and Florence Carter Reasons, she lived all her life in the Puxico and Dudley area where she was a homemaker and member of the Hobbs Chapel Church near Puxico.
On July 27, 1939, at Dudley, she married William J. Hobbs who preceded her in death on March 5, 1998.
She was also preceded her in death by four brothers, Frank Reasons, Charles Reasons, Eldon Reasons and Britton Reasons; and two sisters, Myrtle Hobbs and Beulah Campbell.
Survivors include: two sons, James E. Hobbs of Poplar Bluff and Gary Lee Hobbs of Dexter; and two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
Visitation is at 5 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Hobbs Chapel Church. The Rev. Vernon Kneir of Poplar Bluff will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hobbs Chapel Cemetery near Puxico.
