BERTRAND - Betty Joyce Neal Lishman, 60, died Nov. 2, 2006, at her home.
Born April 1, 1946, in New Madrid, daughter of the late William Junior and Clentine Black Blaize Neal, she lived most of her life in Mississippi County where she worked as a licensed practical nurse. She lived a number of years in the state of Mississippi and returned to Mississippi County in 1999. She was of the Jehovah Witness belief.
On March 19, 1987, she married Johnny Ray Lishman who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sandy Holmes of Benton; one daughter, Lesia Rae Denton of Morton, Miss.; six brothers, Roy Junior Neal of Anderson, S.C., Larry Nelson Neal and Donald Ray Neal of Sikeston, Gary Wayne Neal of East Prairie, George Thomas Neal of Cairo, Ill., and Jerry Neal of Bertrand; one sister, Shirley Ann Eaves of Vienna, Ill.; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by one grandson.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
