PORTLAND, Ore. -- Doyle Roydell Minnis, 45, died Jan. 21, 2008, at Portland.
Born July 1, 1962, in Portageville, Mo., to the late Thomas and Georgia Mae Steele Minnis Sr., he was a graduate of Portageville High School and served in the U.S. Army before moving to Oregon.
Survivors include: four brothers, Harvey Collier of Champaign, Ill., Thomas Minnis Jr. of Hillsboro, Ronnie Minnis of Nashville, Tenn., and Eugene Minnis of Davenport, Iowa; and seven sisters, Deloris Holloman, Debra Norris, Carla Minnis and Barbara Minnis of Portageville, Claudette Gipson of the state of Florida, Connie Long of Marston and Valerie Drake of Gallatin, Tenn.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until time of services at 12:30 p.m. at Temple of God Glory Church, with the Rev. Kirk Dunivan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
